When you have a lighter flywheel, you are removing weight from the rotation of the crankshaft which will allow the engine to rev and respond faster. This is the ACT ProLite Flywheel and features strong, yet lightweight hot-forged Chromoly steel construction. At just 10.1lbs, this is a great way to save weight while freeing more horsepower if you should happen to be replacing your clutch, or re-installing your transmission.

This flywheel is ideal for race use or for use in a track-dedicated race car as you risk triggering a CEL due to the faster response in the engine with an increase in power.
