The Daystar KT09116BK Comfort Ride Leveling Kit is a front suspension leveling kit for select Toyota Tacoma, 4Runner, and FJ Cruiser 6-lug applications. This kit provides approximately 2.5 inches of front lift to reduce the factory nose-down stance, increase front-end clearance, and provide additional room for larger tire setups. Daystar uses durable polyurethane top-mount strut spacers that install without disassembling the factory struts and are designed to avoid adding spring preload.

Unlike metal spacer designs, Daystar's polyurethane construction eliminates metal-to-metal contact and helps isolate suspension noise and vibration. The Top-Mount-Easy-Install configuration retains the factory strut and coil assembly while providing the additional front ride height needed to level the vehicle with the rear.

Daystar's polyurethane spacer design is intended to provide a different approach from traditional metal leveling spacers. The material helps absorb some vibration between suspension components while avoiding direct metal-on-metal spacer contact.

The Top-Mount-Easy-Install design mounts above the factory strut assembly, so the strut does not need to be taken apart to install the spacer itself. Because the spacer does not sit inside the coil assembly, it does not increase spring preload in the same way as an internal preload-style spacer.

By raising the front approximately 2.5 inches, the kit reduces the factory front-to-rear rake and creates a more level stance. The additional front height also increases fender clearance for compatible larger wheel and tire combinations while retaining the factory strut and spring assembly.
