Dinan Cold Air Intake for 2016-2021 BMW M240i/340i/440i - D760-0046

Upgrade the intake system of your B58-powered BMW with the Dinan D760-0046 Cold Air Intake. Designed for select 2016-2021 BMW M240i, 340i, and 440i applications across the F22, F23, F30, F32, F33, F34, and F36 chassis, this closed-box intake uses carbon fiber construction, an enlarged sealed airbox, a larger filter element, and an optimized intake tube to improve airflow while drawing in cool outside air. On a completely stock vehicle, Dinan reports gains of up to 15 HP and 13 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 RPM, along with improved throttle response and a sportier induction sound.

The sealed airbox is 30% larger than stock and provides maximum insulation from under-hood heat, while the filter offers 34% more surface area than the factory element. Dinan also removes the factory intake tube baffling and Helmholtz chamber to reduce airflow disruption and allow more of the B58 engine's natural induction sound to be heard. A free-flowing injection-molded Air Mass Meter housing is 8% larger than stock to further support airflow through the system.
