Designed for select 2016-2020 BMW 340i and 440i applications, this stainless steel exhaust features twin 89mm (3.5-inch) polished tips, a Helmholtz chamber for reduced low-RPM drone, and T304 stainless steel construction. Dinan reports gains of up to 6 HP and 5 lb-ft of torque at 6,600 RPM while delivering a deeper exhaust tone with more audible burbles and pops under the appropriate driving conditions.

The system is engineered to improve exhaust flow by reducing backpressure while maintaining a more refined cabin experience. A Helmholtz chamber helps control unwanted resonance, and the exhaust uses the factory brackets and hangers for factory-style mounting. Unlike the original exhaust configuration, the Dinan system eliminates the factory computer-controlled exhaust valve.
