The DOS Performance 100 Turbo is the most capable stock location turbo built for the EJ platform, full stop. Rated to flow 100 lbs per minute and support 1,000 crank hp or 800 wheel hp, the DOS 100 pushes into power territory that most Subaru owners assumed required a full rotated setup. It was co-developed with Blouch Performance Turbo using the same engineering principles behind the DOS 70 and 75, scaled up to a level that makes it the most powerful stock location turbo on the market for the EJ.

The Compressor and Turbine That Make 1,000 hp Possible

Getting to 100 lbs per minute of flow in a stock location housing required a significant step up in both compressor and turbine sizing. The DOS 100 runs a 68mm compressor wheel designed specifically to operate at the high pressure ratios and shaft speeds required to hit that flow number without compromising spool. On the turbine side, the 74mm exducer inconel 713c wheel is the largest in the DOS lineup, providing the exhaust gas handling capacity to support 1,000 crank hp. The 0.73 A/R exhaust housing keeps the system balanced, though at this power level the turbo is doing work that few people expected was possible without going rotated.

Ceramic Ball Bearings, Inconel Construction

The center rotating assembly runs the same dual ceramic ball bearing design with metal cages used across the DOS lineup. At 1,000 crank hp the center section is under more stress than at any other power level in the lineup, and the ceramic bearing design holds up better under sustained high-boost, high-temperature conditions than traditional journal bearings. The inconel 713c turbine wheel is specified for both its low mass and its resistance to the extreme exhaust temperatures generated at this power level.

The DOS 100 is for builders who have exhausted what a stock location turbo is supposed to be capable of and are not interested in the compromises that come with going rotated. Eight hundred wheel hp from a stock location EJ is a number that legitimately did not exist before this turbo. If you are at the point in your build where 700-750 hp is not enough and you still want to keep the engine bay clean and the intercooler piping simple, the DOS 100 is the answer. There is nothing else in this configuration that comes close to it.
