The factory charge pipe in the WRX is a plastic piece that tapers down to 1.56 inches at the turbo flanges. This is highly restrictive and leaves for a ton of room for improvement. The ETS design is 2.50 inches from the outlet of the turbocharger to the 2.38\" machined inlet flange of the top mount intercooler. The result is a 37% increase over the stock diameter while creating a smooth transition to the TMIC flange for an optimal flow rate.
