Over time and mileage, your factory coolant expansion tank could develop a pressure crack due to expansion because of multiple heat cycles. Additionally, it's not the most pleasing component to look at. The IAG Performance replacement features thick aluminum construction and will provide a more streamlined race-inspired look in the engine bay. Note that this unit will relocate your stock overflow tank to the passenger side front strut tower brace to create additional space for those of you who have a related turbo setup, and need space for the piping.
