THE PROBLEM WITH THE OEM PITCH STOP BRACKETS

Under hard acceleration, the drivetrain is being twisted front to back from front axle torque twist. To control this front to back twisting, Subaru created a pitch stop mount. The factory pitch stop bolts into two metal brackets which fail over time on the 2015-2016 WRX & STI. This failure comes in the form of these two metal brackets tearing, welds breaking off of the firewall, and sometimes a combination of the two.

THE NEED FOR THE PERRIN PSB

The PERRIN Pitch Stop Brace does exactly what its name implies, it reinforces the brackets that connect the pitch stop to the car. The factory brackets on the firewall that hold the pitch stop in place will bend and snap off, even with the flimsy and soft factory pitch stop bushings. The PERRIN Pitch Stop Brace will act as both a means of preventing your pitch stop brackets from tearing as well as reattaching the pitch stop to the firewall if your brackets have already failed.[1]

CLUTCH LINE REPLACEMENT

Included in the PERRIN Pitch Stop Brace kit is a replacement braided stainless steel covered Teflon clutch line. Removes your messy, rubber clutch line with a much cleaner and more durable stainless steel line. A flexible clutch line is required for installation because the hard lines occupy the space required by the PERRIN Pitch Stop Brace.

CONSTRUCTION & FINISH

The PERRIN Pitch Stop Brace body is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum and a black anodized finish with vibrant, laser engraved PERRIN logos.
