If you have increased boost, then you want to add more washers to keep the BOV from opening too soon from not having the spring tight enough.  These valves come with 4 washers installed for factory set cars. One is the polarity of the wires.  Please make sure that the factory ground wire (black) is always connected to other black wires and the red wires are connected to red wires.  Also, there whenever there is a (+) symbol on the ballast connector, make sure it is paired with the red wires.  Black wires will be paired with (-) symbols.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp\u003eAlso, the extension \/ adapter wires can be pushed out of the socket when connecting them to the factory H11 plug.  Please make sure these wires are firmly seated in the base of the plastic plug.  This adapter is required because the ballast connector is not an H11 socket.
