Designed for 2018-2023 BMW M5 applications, including the listed Competition and CS models, this performance exhaust is constructed entirely from TIG-welded T304 stainless steel and features larger 83mm piping, retained computer-controlled exhaust valves, and four massive 4-inch black ceramic coated exhaust tips. The system is engineered to increase exhaust flow while controlling unwanted low-RPM cabin drone.

Dinan enlarges the exhaust tubing from 80mm stock to 83mm and routes it through a muffler using absorption and reactive technologies to balance freer flow with a deeper, sportier tone. During low-speed driving, the factory-controlled exhaust valves help limit volume. Under high-load conditions, the valves open and allow more exhaust gas to bypass the muffler for greater flow and a more aggressive sound. Factory valve actuators are reused, and exhaust valve operation remains integrated with the vehicle's M Drive settings.
