The Tomioka Racing Lightweight Water Pump Pulley for the Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S, and Toyota 86 cuts factory water pump pulley weight by 50% through CNC machining from aluminum. The factory water pump pulley weighs 1.0 lb -- the Tomioka unit brings that down significantly, reducing the rotational load the FA20 engine must drive through the accessory belt system.

Combined with the Tomioka crankshaft pulley and alternator pulley, the water pump pulley completes the three-piece lightweight pulley package for the BRZ/FR-S/86 platform. All three pulleys are available as a set for maximum combined rotational mass reduction.
