Tomioka Racing's turbo heat shield for the 2002-2007 WRX and 2004-2021 STI is a bolt-on solution that reduces radiant heat transfer from the turbocharger and exhaust housing to the intercooler and surrounding engine bay components. Constructed from durable 304 grade stainless steel, it mounts to the factory and most aftermarket stock-location turbochargers without modification.

Heat Reduction in the Engine Bay

The turbocharger exhaust housing reaches extremely high temperatures under sustained boost -- heat that radiates directly toward the intercooler and charge piping. Reducing that radiant heat transfer helps maintain lower charge air temperatures and protects nearby components from heat damage over time.
